Saturday, Day two

Saturday at Ford Takeover happens at Jackson Dragway, just fifteen minutes outside of Jackson TN. Gates open as soon as the vendors are setup, or ten a.m. Official event hours are 10-4. What you can expect is a Manufacturers midway, car show, drag racing, mobile dyno, swap meet, YouTubers row, and plenty of food/drinks. Admission at the gate is $15 per person (under 12 free) to spectate (spectators will be directed to the spectator parking area of the track), and $20 to show or drag race. This is a FORD POWERED only event. No other brands, or Ford’s powered by other brands are permitted to drag race, or participate in the car show.

 

The Midway

Walking the midway at Ford Takeover is a must! Buy official event merch, buy parts, score some freebies, and meet some of your favorite YouTubers like Foxcast Media, BREW2L, NEO Mustangs, and SpeedAddict731. You’ll find Tremec Transmissions, Scram Speed, Stifflers, Hanlon Motorsports, Latemodel Restoration, MAF Racing, Fathead Garage, Mcleod Clutch, and tons more! Speak with their knowledgable staff about your build, and pick up some of your favorite brands swag!

STICK SHIFT SHOOTOUT

The first ever Stick Shift Shootout will be one insane show! A sixteen car field of the baddest three-pedal cars around will battle it out for cash and prizes from Tremec Transmissions, and Mcleod Clutch! Do not miss this!

Drag Racing

The drag racing at Ford Takeover is a test & tune format, with grudge racing. There are no classes or payouts. The idea is a chill atmosphere where anyone and everyone can get on the track and have some fun. Jackson Dragway is an 1/8th mile track, and all timing and clocks will be functioning. The track will be prepped, and will go hot shortly after the gates open, provided the weather cooperates. Helmets are required for cars going down the track. The Jackson Dragway staff will make certain the track is ready and most important; safe. If for whatever reason we are not able to run due to weather, the car owner will be refunded the additional $5 they paid to race.

Car Show

The Ford Takeover car show has always been a diverse one! From old Ford roadsters, to brand new GT500s, and everything in between. Our show is quite a bit different, we aren’t looking for show cars, and there is no judging or classes. The car show is to let other Ford guys check out your ride, and have a great time. If your car is a work in progress, under construction, or a daily driver; put it in the show! If your car is built to the hilt, and a concours show winner, we want you too! The goal of Ford Takeover is a good time, devoid of the typical car show bs. Get your Ford out, we want to see it!

Swap meet

Mobile Dyno

Wanna get your ride on the rollers? The 412 Dyno Shop will be at the track with limited spots! Send them message to pre reserve your spot, as time is limited. The price is $60 for two pulls, and will give you accurate horsepower and torque numbers for your beast. The 412 Dyno Shop will do their best to get as many cars on as possible, while making sure your ride is safe.
